Ducklings

Hello Duckling Families,

Welcome to the Ducklings’ class! I am excited about the journey we will be taking in the coming new school year!

My name is Min Kim, and I have lived in Austin almost since birth. I graduated at the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a concentration in early childhood development. This is also my eighth year with Child’s Day, and over the years, I have had a wonderful opportunity to work with infants through pre-K. This experience has given me a wide perspective and knowledge of early childhood development.

In the Duckling’s classroom, it is our priority to make sure every child feels safe, welcomed, and loved. Creating an environment where a child feels this way helps them comfortable enough to explore their boundaries as they continue building the foundation of their futures.

Many changes will occur in our classroom over the coming year as our children transform from infants to toddlers. They will reach developmental milestones in their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive areas of growth.  As they grow, we will strive to provide an environment and curriculum that support and challenge them in all aspects, and we will have lots of fun as well!

It is an honor for me to be able to be a part of your lives. I look forward to working together with you to make our experience in the Ducklings’ room a great one.

Sincerely,

Min Kim
